Monica Libao is a woman whose story was featured on Unsolved Mysteries in 2002.  Monica believes that she was kidnapped as a baby, and that the couple who raised her were not her real parents.  The couple who raised her is now deceased, which makes it much easier for Monica to come forward publicly.  Monica was supposedly born on May 15, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois.  The people she knew as her parents were named Pablo Libao and Clide McCall Libao.  Throughout Monica's life, she noticed many things that made her suspicious.  When her parents went to enroll her in first grade, there was no birth certificate on file for her.  Her parents always kept her out of school on the days that class pictures were taken.  Monica's parents moved around a lot, living in about 25 different states across the U.S. in a period of 10 years.  She would overhear her parents arguing, saying such things as "She deserves to know the truth."  Monica discovered that her mother had had a hysterectomy well before Monica was born, and her parents would never give her a straight answer, sometimes saying "we are your parents", and other times claiming that Monica was adopted.
